Ronnie & the Leverpullers                                       1

Programme for the Bunny Club, Athens, Greece                      The story of Ronnie and the Leverpullers is a lesson in look before you leap for the optimist, or, never look a gift horse in the mouth for the pessimist. It started when sax player, Alan Swanson, saw an advertisement in the Liverpool Echo. It was in the musicians and entertainers section and asked for musicians to form a group. He enquired about it and was told the group was being formed to entertain in the Bunny Club in Athens. He approached me and Alastair Adams with the idea of forming a group and we agreed. I don't think any of us thought it would really happen, but we were doing nothing at that time and we were up for it.
