August 2003, the Liverpool Pub Picture - Linda Good                        We were waiting to go on for our second spot when in walks Jackie Lomax (centre). We knew that he was scheduled to play the Cavern the next day but were completely surprised by his visit. Jackie joined us on stage and did a blistering version of " A Little Bit ". Word spread around Liverpool that Jackie was there but unfortunately he had gone by the time fellow musos could reach the Liverpool pub. It was great to see the reception for him next day when he played the Cavern. To round things off Jackie also agreed to perform with us at the Thursday night jam session for Merseycats. It was also an opportunity for him to catch up with some mates from the old days. To the right is a beer mat that Jackie signed for me as a memento.
